Access ramps serve as an aid for vehicles to ensure that they can easily drive onto or over the vehicle lift. Low-lying sports cars often cannot be driven on scissor lifts without damage. Access ramps can also be used as an elevation so that the support arms of 2-post lifts can be swiveled under the vehicle if there is not enough ground clearance.
